Abingdon posted wins in last year's June 9 Listed Lord Weinstock Memorial S. at Newbury and York's Aug. 18 Listed Galtres S., and closed her sophomore campaign with a fifth in Doncaster's G2 Park Hill S. in her most recent start Sept. 8. Rushed up from the inside gate to stalk the tempo along the fence in third, she eased into second on the home turn and surged clear onced angled into open runway at the top of the straight to register a third black-type score by daylight.
Abingdon is the leading performer out of an unraced half-sister to Islington (Ire) (Sadler's Wells), who went one better than her G1 Yorkshire Oaks-winning dam Hellenic (Ire) (Darshaan {GB}) by winning that York feature on two occasions. Islington was also successful in the GI Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf, which sealed US champion Grass Mare status, as well as the G1 Nassau S., and she is a full-sister to G1 Grosser Dallmayr-Preis winner Greek Dance (Ire) and a half to G1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud-winning sire Mountain High (Ire). Justlookdontouch, whose family also includes the G1 Melbourne Cup-winning Australian champion Fiorente (Ire) (Monsun {Ger}), is also the dam of 3-year-old filly Superioritycomplex (Ire) (Hard Spun), who ran second at Salisbury last week, the hitherto unraced 2-year-old filly Aim of Artemis (Ire) (Leroidesanimaux {Brz}) and a yearling filly by Kingman (GB).
