Officials at B. Wayne Hughes's Spendthrift Farm have announced that Archarcharch (Arch–Woodman's Dancer, by Woodman) and Tizway (Tiznow–Bethany, by Dayjur) have been sold and will continued their stud duties in South Korea in 2018. The deal was brokered by Jun Park.

“Korea is always looking for opportunities to improve the country's breeding program,” said Park. “These stallions are a wonderful addition to Korea's stallion roster, and we are excited to be able to offer them to Korean breeders.”

Archaracharch, winner of the 2011 GI Arkansas Derby, has been represented by five black-type winners to date and the winners of nearly $6 million to date, headed by Toews On Ice, victorious in the 2015 GIII Bob Hope S.

Tizway completed the GI Met Mile/GI Whitney H. double in 2011 and is the sire of nine stakes winners, including top earner Coasted, runner-up in last year's GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. Tizway's 4-year-old son Buhwarui Banseok ( –Aim For the Moon, by Deputy Minister) has won six of 15 starts in Korea for earnings of nearly 560 million Won (about US$490,000).

As part of the conditions of sale, Spendthrift has the right of first refusal should the new owners ever decide to sell the stallions. Additionally, it has been agreed that the pair will return to the U.S. upon completion of their stud careers. Another former Spendthrift stallion, Tiz Wonderful, also stands in Korea.
