Taking closer order in the straight, the 37-5 chance was pushed along approaching the quarter-mile marker and exhibited a smart turn of foot for one flick of the whip inside the final eighth to prevail by a short head from €2.6-million Arqana August sale topper Parabellum (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}). The runner-up was green throughout, but showed promise with his late flurry.
