Seven-Figure Tiznow Colt Graduates at Fair Grounds

Tiznow | Louise Reinagel

TOUR DE FORCE (c, 4, Tiznow–Dream Supreme {MGISW, $1,007,680}, by Seeking the Gold), a $1.35-million purchase at the 2014 Keeneland September sale, registered a good-looking graduation at Fair Grounds in his second outing. Bet to narrow favoritism in his debut sprinting over the local slop Dec. 4, the big bay made a wide move on the turn and led late before finishing second by a half-length. Knocked down to 9-10 stretching out to a grassy mile here, Tour de Force tracked from a distant second as a longshot sped well clear through splits of :24.05 and :48.84. That one retreated quickly nearing the top of the lane, and the favorite swept by to take the lead. Challenged in midstretch by Roustabout (Harlan's Holiday), Tour de Force turned that one back and came home 2 1/2 lengths to the good in 1:39.21. The winner is a half to Majestic Warrior (A.P. Indy), GISW, $239,229; Evolutionist (El Prado {Ire}), SW & GSP, $137,861; and Crystal Current (A.P. Indy), SW, $109,380. His dam, a six-time graded stakes winner sprinting on the dirt out of GISW Spinning Round (Dixieland Band), foaled his full-sister in 2016. Sales History: $1,350,000 Ylg '14 KEESEP. Lifetime Record: 2-1-1-0, $31,000. O-John C. Oxley & Kinsman Farm; B-Kinsman Farm (KY); T-Mark E. Casse.[bullet ad=”kinsman-farm-bred-and-raised”][bullet ad=”lanes-end-sales-grad”]
