Karl Watson, Mike Pegram and Paul Weitman's Secret Circle (Eddington–Ragtime Hope, by Dixieland Band), winner of the 2013 GI Breeders' Cup Sprint, has been retired from racing. The 6-year-old, who was most recently seen winning the G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen at Meydan, was on the board in 15 of 16 lifetime starts, with eight wins and earnings of $3,670,790. In addition to his Breeders' Cup and Golden Shaheen victories, Secret Circle also won the 2012 GII Rebel S. and GIII Southwest S. “Secret Circle proved his class on the racetrack and has the pedigree and race record you want to see in a stallion. He is a horse of exceptional talent from an impressive family, and we look forward to introducing him to breeders,” Pegram said. Stud plans have yet to be finalized.
