TOUJOURS (FR) (f, 2, Galileo {Ire}–Quetsche {GSW-Fr, $131,437}, by Gone West), bought for €650,000 at Arqana August by Peter & Ross Doyle, M V Magnier and Mayfair Speculators, was sent off the 3-1 favourite for this racecourse bow and broke smartly to race prominently throughout the early stages. Racing greenly and jumping the road at one point, the bay nevertheless stayed close to the pace and when sent to the front passing the quarter pole by Pierre-Charles Boudot comfortably saw off the threat of Godolphin's Zendia (GB) (New Approach {Ire}) to win by a length. The winner is the last known foal out of the G3 Prix de Royaumont scorer Quetsche, who is a daughter of the G2 German 1000 Guineas and G2 Preis der Diana (German Oaks) heroine Que Belle (Seattle Dancer), who was also second in the G1 Prix Ganay. Also responsible for the GIII Will Rogers S.-winning sire Osidy (Storm Cat), she is related to the G2 Adelaide Cup scorer Johann Zoffany (GB) (Galileo {Ire}) and the GII Best Pal S. winner and GI Del Mar Futurity and GI FrontRunner S. second Know More (Lion Heart) from the family of the sires Bakharoff (The Minstrel) and Emperor Jones (Danzig).
