Klaravich Stables and William Lawrence's Practical Joke (Into Mischief–Halo Humor, by Distorted Humor), most recently winner of the GI H. Allen Jerkens S. at Saratoga, will stand at Coolmore America's Ashford Stud for the 2018 breeding season.

“He's a very, very good-looking horse, he's by one of the hottest sires in the country and he's amongst the very best racehorses of his generation,” Ashford Stud manager Dermot Ryan said of Practical Joke. “We're absolutely delighted that he's coming to stand here.”

Practical Joke, unbeaten in five one-turn starts, won last year's GI Hopeful S. and GI Champagne S., as well as this year's GIII Dwyer. Before winning the Aug. 26 Allen Jerkens, the sophomore was a close-up third in the GI Haskell Invitational.

On the board in nine of 10 starts to date, Practical Joke has won five times for earnings of $1,670,800. His lone off-the-board finish was a fifth-place finish in the GI Kentucky Derby.

He is currently targeting a start in the GI Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile.
