POTN Colt Takes the Early Lead at KEENOV Thursday

A Bedouin Bloodstock-consigned colt by Pioneerof the Nile from Bobbie Use (Not For Love) was hammered down to Baccari Bloodstock for $550,000 to lead the way early on during the opening session of book 2 of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale in Lexington. The April foal, a half-brother to GISW Starship Truffles (Ghostzapper) and cataloged at hip 420, was bred by SF Bloodstock, who acquired the stakes-winning Bobbie Use for $110,000 in foal to Indian Ocean at the Fasig-Tipton November sale in 2013. The mare's Paynter colt of 2015 was a $150,000 graduate of this sale as a weanling and subsequently sold for $520,000 as a KEESEP yearling.
