Positive Start For Al Shaqab Quartet

Each of the four new recruits to Al Shaqab's Haras de Bouquetot have their first mares scanned in foal. Stakes winner Jetfire (GB) (American Post {GB}) and Langrune (Ire) (Fasliyev), the dam of stakes winner Orbec (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}), are among the mares successfully covered by 2017 French Champion 3-year-old and dual Classic winner Brametot (Ire) (Rajsaman {Fr}), who stands for €10,000. G1 Prix Jacques le Marois winner Al Wukair (Ire) (Dream Ahead) (€8,000) has 18 mares in foal, among them Seeharn (Ire) (Pivotal {GB}), who won a listed race for Kevin Prendergast during her racing career. Al Wukair's first book also included Borgia Gold (Ire) (Cape Cross {Ire}), a half-sister to Group 1 winner Signs Of Blessing (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}).

Ectot (GB) (Hurricane Run {Ire}), a Group 1 winner in France and America and who stands for a fee of €5,000, has also gotten off to a swift start with his group of in foal mares including stakes winner Growing Glory (Fr) (Orpen). Zelzal (Fr) (Sea The Stars {Ire}) completes the quartet of first season stallions at Haras de Bouquetot. The G1 G1 Prix Jean Prat winner, who commands €8,000, has a number of mares scanned in foal, including the stakes placed Asyad (Ire) (New Approach {Ire}), who is a half-sister to six stakes winners.
