Oscar Performance to Stand for $20K

Oscar Performance (Kitten's Joy–Devine Actress, by Theatrical {Ire}), who posted Grade I victories in each of his three seasons at the races, will stand for an introductory fee of $20,000 at his birthplace at Mill Ridge Farm in Lexington.

Trained by Brian Lynch for John and Jerry Amerman's Amerman Racing, Oscar Performance won the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf in 2016 and added a pair of top-level successes over 10 furlongs at three-the GI Belmont Derby and the GI Secretariat S. The striking bay kicked off his 2018 season by winning the one-mile GIII Poker S. in course-record time of 1:31.23 and earned a third straight trip to the Breeders' Cup with a smooth success in the GI Ricoh Woodbine Mile in September. He retires with eight wins from 15 appearances and earnings of $2,345,696.

Oscar Performance will be available for inspection through Friday, Nov. 9 at Mill Ridge from 12:30-2:30 p.m. each day, with lunch served.
