The first of three breeze shows for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2016 March Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training begins Wednesday. The under-tack show will span three days, kicking off Wednesday with Hips 1-204. Hips 205-408 will go Thursday, and Hips 409-613 will breeze Friday. All three sessions will begin at 8:00 a.m. The breeze shows and sale will be streamed live via the OBS website.
A total of 613 juveniles were cataloged for the two-day sale, set for Tuesday and Wednesday, Mar. 15 and 16, with both sessions beginning at 11:00 a.m. Hip 1-306 will sell Tuesday; Hips 307-613 will sell Wednesday. A total of 325 juveniles brought $55,432,000 at last year's sale, good for an average of $170,560.
