HARIPOUR (IRE) (Shamardal)is a half to last term's G1 Epsom Derby and G1 Irish Derby hero Harzand (Ire) (Sea the Stars {Ire}), and bids to step up off a debut second for Dermot Weld at Gowran Park in October. He is joined by stablemate Safaruk (Ire) (Sea the Stars {Ire}), who is an unraced half to G1 Prix de Diane, G1 Prix Saint-Alary and G1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud victress Sarafina (Fr) (Refuse to Bend {Ire}). Further opposition is provided by the once-raced Aidan O'Brien-trained pair Auckland (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), a son of G1 Cheveley Park S. victress Airwave (GB) (Air Express {Ire}), and Venice Beach (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), who is a half-brother to MG1SW distaffer Danedream (Ger) (Lomitas {GB}).

HARRANA (IRE) (New Approach {Ire}) is out of Listed Finale S. winner Hazarafa (Ire) (Daylami {Ire}), herself out of a half-sister to last term's G1 Epsom Derby and G1 Irish Derby hero Harzand (Ire) (Sea the Stars {Ire}), and debuts for the Aga Khan-Dermot Weld axis here. Her eight rivals include trio of Aidan O'Brien representatives as well as fellow newcomer Aurora Butterfly (Ire) (Born To Sea {Ire}), who is a Willie McCreery-trained half to G3 Prix La Rochette winner and MG1SW sire Diamond Green (Fr) (Green Desert). John Oxx trainee Bengala (Fr) (Pivotal {GB}), an unraced daughter of G1 Prix de Diane and G1 Prix de l'Opera victress Bright Sky (Ire) (Wolfhound), provides additional lustre to the line-up.
