Abdullah Saeed Al Naboodah's hitherto unraced QUMRIYAH (Shamardal), an 870,000gns TATOCT yearling, is a half-sister to 2015 G1 1000 Guineas, G1 Nassau S. and G1 Matron S. heroine Legatissimo (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}). One dozen rivals oppose the John Gosden trainee, including Cheveley Park Stud's once-raced Veracious (GB) (Frankel {GB}), who is a half to MG1SP dual G2 Summer Mile S. winner Mutakayyef (GB) (Sea the Stars {Ire}) out of 2008 G1 Coronation S. and G1 Falmouth S. runner-up Infallible (GB) (Pivotal {GB}), from Sir Michael Stoute's local barn; and Godolphin debutante Winter Lightning (Ire) (Shamardal), who is kin to four black-type winners headed by G1 Criterium International and G1 Prix Jean Prat hero Thunder Snow (Ire) (Helmet {Aus}), representing Saeed bin Suroor.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum's GHANIMAH (GB) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) is out of 2010 G1 1000 Guineas and G1 Coronation S. placegetter Gile Na Greine (Ire) (Galileo {Ire), and debuts for William Haggas here. The homebred bay faces a cast of 12, which includes Flaxman Stables Ireland's twice-raced Scandaleuse (War Front), who is a Sir Michael Stoute-trained daughter of 2011 GI Spinster S. heroine Aruna (Mr. Greeley).
