HAZARFAN (GB) (Frankel (GB)">Frankel {GB}), Mohammed Jaber's 250,000gns TATDEC yearling, is a half-brother to 2015 G1 The BMW and 2016 G1 Turnbull S. hero Hartnell (GB) (Authorized {Ire}). Rivals to the Ed Dunlop trainee include Sahara Bloodstock's fellow newcomer Courtside (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}), who is a David Simcock-trained half-brother to 2015 G2 Prix du Conseil de Paris hero and G1 Hong Kong Vase fourth Ming Dynasty (Fr) (King's Best); and China Horse Club International's once-raced Balletomane (GB) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}), who is a half-brother to 2009 G1 Gran Criterium victor Hearts of Fire (GB) (Firebreak {GB}), from the Richard Hannon barn.

3.15 Newmarket, Cond, £7,000, 2yo, 8fT

Paul Makin's JUST BRILLIANT (IRE) (Lope de Vega {Ire}) is a half-brother to 2015 G1 Racing Post Trophy-winning sire and former Peter Chapple-Hyam representative Marcel (Ire) (Lawman {Fr}). Representing the same stable, the 150,000gns TATOCT yearling is opposed by a cast of eight in this unveiling.
