BEACHCOMBER BAY (IRE) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) was a 525,000gns TATOCT purchase by Godolphin and is a son of the G1 Pretty Polly S. runner-up Beach Bunny (Ire) (High Chaparral {Ire}) whose listed winner Beach Belle (GB) is also by Invincible Spirit. Charlie Appleby introduces the January-foaled bay, who is also a half to the smart sprinter Naadirr (Ire) (Oasis Dream {GB}), and he meets another with Lady O'Reilly breeding in Cheveley Park Stud's €340,000 ARQMAY breezer Profound (Ire) (Intello {Ger}) from the Roger Varian stable.

3.30 Kempton, Cond, £7,000, 2yo, f, 7f (AWT)

SHUROOQ (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) is the latest progeny out of the G1 1000 Guineas and G1 Cheveley Park S. heroine Natagora (Fr) (Divine Light {Jpn}) to race in the silks of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Owen Burrows saddles the April-foaled grey, who is joined by fellow Shadwell-bred Saffah (More Than Ready), a Charlie Hills-trained relative of Mujahid, as they encounter Godolphin's similarly unraced Murasaki (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), a Charlie Appleby-trained daughter of the G2 Ribblesdale S. winner and G1 Yorkshire Oaks and G1 Prix Vermeille third Michita (Dynaformer).
