Out of Grade I winner Rigoletta (Concerto), the bay is a half-brother to last term's GI Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile winner and 'TDN Rising Star' Battle of Midway (Smart Strike). This is also the family of graded winners Patternrecognition (Adios Charlie) and Gourmet Dinner (Trippi). Chad Brown is always dangerous with a firster on the turf and he sends out Peter Brant's Demarchelier (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}). The bay is out of an unraced full-sister to Irish Highweights Yesterday (Ire) (Sadler's Wells) and Quarter Moon (Ire) (Sadler's Wells), who is the dam of Group 1 winner Diamondsandrubies (Ire) (Fasnet Rock {Aus}). The juvenile also hails from the family of Group 1 winners Aussie Rules (Danehill) and Allergretto (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}). Mark Hennig unveils the first foal out of Grade I-winning 'TDN Rising Star' My Conquestadory (Artie Schiller) in Bourban War (Tapit&log=">Tapit). The bay sold for $410,000 at the 2016 Keeneland November Sale and was followed into the ring by his dam, who summoned $1.5 million from SF Bloodstock and Newgate Farm carrying a full-sibling to this colt. Tom Albertrani saddles yet another well-related first timer in Art Object (Twirling Candy&log=">Twirling Candy), a full-brother to MGSW young sire Danzing Candy. A three-quarter sibling to MSW Cedartown (Candy Ride {Arg}), the $130,000 KEESEP buy is out of Talkin and Singing (Songandaprayer), a half-sister to MGISW Better Talk Now (Talkin Man), who sold to Summer Wind Equine for $550,000 in foal to Candy Ride at the 2016 KEENOV sale. Cherie DeVaux, longtime assistant to Brown who recently opened her own stable, unveils a half-brother to GIII Matt Winn S. victor King Zachary (Curlin) in Rochambeau (Noble Mission {GB}). Kiaran McLaughlin also debuts a half-sibling to Grade III-winning sophomore in Eagle Two (Trappe Shot), who is kin to Oklahoma Derby hero and MGISP Lone Sailor (Majestic Warrior).
