Adding further ballast to the Roger Charlton stable which already houses the star filly Quadrilateral (GB) (Frankel {GB}), Pocket Square (GB) (Night of Thunder {Ire}) overcame testing ground at Deauville to record an uncomplicated success in Wednesday's G3 Prix des Reservoirs. Targeted at this prize following his 3 1/4-length success in a novice contest on good-to-firm over this mile trip Sept. 7, Khalid Abdullah's chestnut was handily-placed by Mickael Barzalona tracking the leading duo initially before moving up a place after the opening stages. Committed with 300 metres remaining, the 53-10 shot stayed on strongly to deny her compatriot Run Wild (Ger) (Amaron {Ger}) by 1 1/2 lengths.
