Night Of Thunder (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}), Europe’s leading first-season sire by winners, will return to Darley’s Kildangan Stud in Ireland in 2020, the Irish Field reports. The G1 2000 Guineas winner entered stud at Kildangan in 2016 and stood there two years before relocating to Darley’s Dalham Hall Stud to stand alongside his sire the last two years. Through Saturday he has 25 individual winners of 35 races and three black-type winners, headed by G3 Princess Margaret S. winner Under The Stars (Ire).

“The outstanding success that Night Of Thunder has achieved with his first crop is testament to the support he received from Irish breeders during his first season,” Darley’s Director of Stallions Sam Bullard told the Irish Field. “We are confident that his return to Kildangan Stud will ensure we are able to secure him a very good quality book of mares for 2020.”
