Switched wide once into the straight, the €16,000 ARAUG yearling picked up to lead with 150 metres remaining and asserted to beat Motym (Fr) (Motivator {GB}) by 1 3/4 lengths. Tremont becomes the first winner for his first-season sire (by Lawman {Fr}) who stands at Coomore Stud at a €4,000 fee. The first foal out of a half to the G3 Lingfield Derby Trial runner-up Hazeymm (Ire) (Marju {Ire}), who also has a yearling filly by Planteur (Ire), he hails from the family of Shantou and the triple crown heroine Oh So Sharp (Ire) (Kris {GB}).
