Moses Ban Reinstated

The New South Wales Racing Appeals Tribunal reinstated a 12-month ban against trainer Kevin Moses, for a cobalt infraction after one of his horses tested positive, reported Racenet.com Wednesday. Moses trainee Felix Bay (Aus) (Song of Tara {Ire}) tested positive for cobalt in both a pre- and post-race sample at Hawkesbury in April. Originally disqualified for 12 months by Racing NSW stewards, Moses appealed to the Racing NSW Appeals Panel, which instead handed out a A$20,000 fine and suspended sentence in October. The Racing NSW stewards counter-appealed and Moses will begin his disqualification next Wednesday. Moses is in the process of relocating the horses in his stable to new trainers.
