Our newest informational tool, TDN Sire Lists were born of a desire to create sire lists of relevance to the international commercial thoroughbred marketplace. Sortable by any of the categories presented, we think you will find them a handy and relevant tool in your thoroughbred research.

 TDN Progeny PP Counts

TDN Progeny PP Counts are designed to let you identify at a glance the stallions with the greatest number of significant progeny over the past several months or year. Simply select a sire category, a time frame, and a sort criteria, and the list indicates how many times their progeny have appeared in TDN Progeny PPs for that period. The figures are broken down into several pertinent categories. Progeny PP Counts reflect Northern Hemisphere racing only.

 APEX

The Average-Earnings Index was a huge advance in its time, but is flawed because one huge earner skews the average. APEX (Annual Progeny Earnings indeX) figures are an enhancement of the average-earnings index: over 1,000 qualifying sires receive 17 different ratings, focusing on class bands, region, and age.

 WERK Leading Sire Lists

Werk Leading Sire Lists detail--in several categories--the annual leading sires of winners of unrestricted stakes races in North America with a purse of $40,000 or more, European stakes winners of Listed and Group stakes, and Japanese graded stakes winners.
