  NAVAN, 16.05, Mdn, 15,000, 2yo, f, 1mT, 1:48.92, sf, 5, 2

Kissed (Ire), F, 2, by Galileo (Ire)

1st Dam: Gwynn (Ire), by Darshaan (GB)
2nd Dam: Victoress, by Conquistador Cielo
3rd Dam: Royal Statute, by Northern Dancer

Kissed, a 900,000gns graduate of last year's Tattersalls October sale, was hammered into 6-4 favoritism from a morning price of 3-1. She wasted no energy at the start when settling in third for Joseph O'Brien as Violet Lashes (Badge of Silver) was sent to the lead. Always traveling easily in the testing conditions, the bay was shaken up to tackle the longtime leader with a furlong remaining and quickly asserted under hand and heels for a comfortable 1 1/2-length success, with Colla Pier (Ire) (Hawk Wing) a further 7 1/2 lengths adrift in third. "I was always happy with where I was in the race and she is a very nice filly," the winning jockey told Irish Racing Online. "It's very testing conditions out there, and there should be plenty of improvement in her from here." Kissed is a 3/4-sister to Gagnoa (Ire) (Sadler's Wells), MGSW & MG1SP-Fr, G1SP-Ire, $566,294; and this year's G1 Epsom Derby hero Pour Moi (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire]), G1SW-GB & GSP-Fr, $1,313,295. Her yearling full-sister topped yesterday's opening session of TATOCT at 800,000gns. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, €10,350.
