Aubby K showed a steady worktab dating back to early May at Churchill Downs, and was favored at even-money over four rivals in her unveiling. The last one to exit the stalls here, she rushed up to challenge for the lead on the outside, began to edge clear on the turn for home and turned it into a runaway in the stretch, crossing the line an eye-catching 15 1/2 lengths clear of Thisizsparta (Corinthian). Aubby K is a half-sister to Mythical Pegasus (Fusaichi Pegasus), GSP, $126,003; and Flying Pegasus (Fusaichi Pegasus), MGSP, $206,067. She becomes the sixth winner for her freshman sire (by Street Cry {Ire}). Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $30,000.
