  NAAS, 17.30, Mdn, 15,000, 2yo, f, 6fT, 1:12.00, gd/fm, 6, 4

Maybe (Ire), F, 2, by Galileo (Ire)

1st Dam: Sumora (Ire) (SW-Eng), by Danehill
2nd Dam: Rain Flower (Ire), by Indian Ridge (Ire)
3rd Dam: Rose of Jericho, by Alleged

Maybe, who was a €340,000 ARQAUG yearling, was allowed to lengthen to 8-1 from a morning price of 11-4, but belied that drift by breaking professionally and assuming front-running duties. Turning the screw passing halfway, the bay received a couple of slaps with the whip and kept up a relentless gallop to beat Princess Sinead (Ire) (Jeremy) by 4 1/2 lengths. Maybe's second dam, Rain Flower (Ire), is a three-quarter sister to 1992 Epsom Derby winner Dr Devious (Ire) (Ahonoora {GB}). Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, €10,350.
