Long Lashes, a $95,000 KEESEP yearling, was largely ignored beforehand and there were few clues, apart from the fact that her half-sister Mythical Border (Johannesburg), GSP-GB, earned "TDN Rising Star" status on debut at two. Settled close behind the early pace after a smart break, the bay moved up to tackle Elusive Galaxy at the furlong marker and soon had control en route to a notable debut score. Trainer Jessie Harrington told PA Sport, "We knew she was smart, but I was worried about the soft ground. Fran [Berry] says we should run her in the G1 Moyglare Stud S. [at The Curragh Aug. 30], but she is not entered and we will now have to consider supplementing her." Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, €30,922.
