Mission Impazible, a half-brother to Forest Camp (Deputy Minister), GSW, $339,984; and Spanish Empire (Pleasant Colony), GSW, $276,714, showed a pair of very sharp moves over the Keeneland Polytrack, including a best-of-103 four-furlong workout in :47 Apr. 4. Favored at even-money, he was scrubbed on early by Johnny Velazquez to race in fourth as Grand Times (Greatness) set an uncontested pace. Left with plenty to do as Grand Times led by three lengths in the stretch, the $200,000 KEESEP yearling purchase began to roll in the lane as he raced greenly, and finished with a flourish once straightened to reel in the pacesetter by a length. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $31,180. O: Twin Creeks Racing Stable | B: Summer Wind Farm (KY) | T: Todd A Pletcher |
