  Aqueduct, Race 6, Msw, 44,000, , 1m, 1:38 3/5, ft, 7, 6

Well Positioned, C, 2, by Awesome Again

1st Dam: Taxible, by Holy Bull
2nd Dam: Hail a Cab, by Hail the Pirates
3rd Dam: Fifth Avenue Lady, by Rising Market

Well Positioned, a $340,000 ADNMAR juvenile, faded to sixth going a mile at Belmont in his Oct. 19 debut. He was adding blinkers here, but was ignored at the windows at 31-1. Up to challenge for the lead through an opening half in :48.30, the Canadian-bred started to open up on the field as they came around the bend and left them in the dust down the lane, cruising under the wire a 14 1/4-length winner. Second dam Hail a Cab captured the GI Spinster S.; it is also the family of Canadian champion juvenile filly Simply Lovely (Bold Executive). Miro (Fusaichi Pegasus), a half to GSW Mushka (Empire Maker) that brought $450,000 as a KEESEP yearling, was runner-up. Lifetime Record: 2-1-0-0, $26,754.
