  NEWMARKET, 6.15, Mdn, 8,000, 2yo, f, 7fT, 1:26.16, gd

Rainbow View, F, 2, by Dynaformer

1st Dam: No Matter What (GISW-US & SW-Fr, $185,538), by Nureyev
2nd Dam: Words of War, by Lord at War (Arg)
3rd Dam: Right Word, by Verbatim

Starting out for the same connections and sire of G1 St. Leger S. hero Lucarno, Rainbow View was sent off the 11-2 joint favorite. The homebred bay was settled off the early pace by Jimmy Fortune, moved through to lead approaching the furlong marker and stretched away for an emphatic six-length success. High Heeled (Ire) (High Chaparral {Ire}) nipped Snoqualmie Girl (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}) by a head for second. The winner's dam No Matter What, a $425,000 KEEJUL yearling, won the Listed Prix de Lilas before capturing the GI Del Mark Oaks. No Matter What is a half-sister to MGSW E Dubai; their dam Words of War, a multiple stakes winner of $683,832, is a full to GSW Ascutney, whose top-class three-year-old Raven's Pass is also trained by John Gosden.
