  Gulfstream Park, Race 6, Msw, 40,000, 3yo, 7f, 1:23 1/5, ft

Ready's Echo, R, 3, by More Than Ready

1st Dam: Menekineko, by Kingmambo
2nd Dam: Maison Close, by Spectacular Bid
3rd Dam: Magdalena, by Northern Dancer

Ready’s Echo closed from the clouds to be second, 5 3/4 lengths behind Z Humor, in his Aug. 8 debut at Saratoga. Making his first start since, the dark bay colt raced near the back of the pack after a slow start. He moved closer on the turn, angled out five wide in upper stretch to reel in Wesley (El Prado {Ire}) before storming clear to best that rival by 3 1/4 lengths at 9-5. Wesley had a nose on 115-1 longshot Posse Cat (Posse). Ready’s Echo was a $100,000 KEESEP yearling. Lifetime Record: 2-1-1-0, $36,400.
