Turn Away, sent off the 6-5 choice, stalked the early pace in third through early splits of :22.60 and :46.42 before sweeping to the front turning for home. Quickly drawing away from the rest, the bay drifted out in the drive, but proved much the best, galloping home an easy 9 1/4-length winner over Fair Rose (Harlan’s Holiday). The filly is the fifth winner for her freshman sire (by Unbridled). Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $30,012.
