Lael Stables homebred Sweetest Kiss had several good drills at Fair Hill Training Center, but debuted at longish odds of 7-1. Hustled away from post 12 by jockey Jose Caraballo, she raced several lengths off the lead in fourth down the backstretch. The blaze-faced chestnut quickly reached contention with a four-wide move on the turn, hit the front in the stretch and, after showing a bit of immaturity in switching leads, straightened out smartly on her way to an 8 1/2-length debut score. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $17,100.
