Fresh off a professional four-furlong move in :48 1/5 over this track July 14, the $220,000 KEESEP yearling was backed down to 6-5 favoritism for this career bow. Up to contest the early leaders, the dark bay strode to the front after a half mile in :46.09 and was well in front with a furlong left to negotiate. In full stride late, the colt cruised under the wire a much-the-best nine-length winner over Fernando Po (Johannesburg). Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $25,800.
