  MAISONS-LAFFITTE, 2.15, Mdn, 19,000, 2yo, c/g, 6fT, 1:14.90, gd/sf

Visionario (Ire), C, 2, by Spinning World

1st Dam: Visionnaire (Fr) (MG1SP-Fr, $103,224), by Linamix
2nd Dam: Visor, by Mr. Prospector
3rd Dam: Look, by Spectacular Bid

Visionario arrived at the track with such a reputation that he was hammered into 3-10 favoritism at the tills and never gave supporters a moment's worry as he laid down an impressive marker for the future. Reserved in midfield after an adequate break, the crowd's choice inched closer to the pace upon passing halfway. Seizing control in a matter of strides with 1 1/2 furlongs remaining, jockey Christophe Soumillon was scouting for non-existent dangers from there and Visionario required no more than second gear in the closing stages to record an unextended four-length win from Inmigrante (Fr) (Gulpha Gorge). Lifetime Record: 1 start, 1 win, Eu9,500.

O: H H The Aga Khan | B: SNC Lagardere Elevage | T: Andre Fabre
