Reunite received favorable mention from Godolphin Racing Manager Simon Crisford in the spring, but was forced to wait until the doors of the Godolphin barn reopened after a self-imposed shutdown to make this belated seasonal bow. Returning from a back-end maiden win here Nov. 2, the half to Anabaa Blue (GB) (Anabaa), G1SW-Fr, $715,149, exploded onto the scene with a commanding performance as jockey Frankie Dettori went through nothing more serious than a neck muscle exercise routine. Settled sweetly in second until easing to the fore at the top of the straight, the 10-11 chalk cruised clear under gentle coaxing and toyed with Solva (GB) (Singspiel {Ire}) before gearing down to an impressive 3/4-length win from that rival.
