Noblewoman was purchased for $750,000 as a KEESEP yearling and looked worth every penny at first asking. The 2-1 second choice after posting sharp works at Palm Meadows, the chestnut filly pressed the pace for a quarter, took over after a half in :44.93 and strode away from her rivals to score by 7 3/4 lengths. Her second dam, a champion in Ireland and Germany, won four Group 1 events, including the Irish 1000 Guineas and Coral-Eclipse S. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $25,200.
