Sangrita was off to a slow start in her Jan. 15 debut and never got into the hunt, finishing a distant fourth. Breaking sharply in her second appearance, the 1/2 to Offlee Wild (Wild Again), GISW, $976,325, shadowed 2-1 chalk Hi Lili (Silver Deputy) for a half, went to the front after six furlongs and was all alone down the lane, sailing to a 12 3/4-length maiden as the 5-2 second choice. Hi Lili held off Grand Ridge (Grand Slam) for second. Lifetime Record: 2-1-0-0, $20,480.
