  Santa Anita, Race 1, Msw, 46,800, 3yo, 1m, 1:37 1/5, ft

  Really Indian, C, 3, by A.P. Indy

1st Dam: Really Polish (GSW & GISP, $399,569), by Polish Numbers
2nd Dam: Good ‘n Smart, by Smarten
3rd Dam: Smiling Cece, by *Forli

Really Indian, a $375,000 KEESEP yearling purchase, was coming off a solid three-furlong work in :36 4/5 Jan. 18, but wasn’t exactly pounded at the windows, going off at 9-1 behind the 1-5 entry of Point of Impact (Point Given) and Overland Trail (Gone West). With Point of Impact all but out of the race when he blew the first turn, Really Indian bided his time near the back of the pack before moving up to challenge Three Points (Point Given) a sixteenth from home. Quickly in front of that foe, he galloped clear late to win by 5 1/2 lengths. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $27,600.
