Great Deep Bay went postward as the 4-1 second choice for her career bow. Prominently positioned from the start, the bay filly took charge turning for home and galloped off into the sunset for a 15 1/4-length triumph. She was a $65,000 KEESEP yearling and a $120,000 OBSMAR two-year-old acquisition. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $11,700.
