French Park became the eighth winner for her freshman sire (by Forty Niner) with this powerhouse effort. The $50,000 KEENOV weanling and $75,000 FTKJUL yearling purchase had shown some ability in her morning trials, but was let go at 12-1 in a field featuring 10 first-time starters from 12 runners. On an afternoon where speed and the inside were highly coveted, the January foal gained the early lead and took full advantage of the rail, storming home 12 1/4 lengths best. Lilies for Rozie (Rahy) was second. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $31,225.
