Art Museum holds high-profile entries in the major juvenile races of the fall and was hammered down to 4-5 for this maiden test won last year by the stable’s subsequent G1 Middle Park S. hero Ad Valorem. He missed the break and was baulked, but held his position in behind the leaders before being asked to close at halfway. Coaxed to the front by Kieren Fallon passing the eighth peg, he needed one slap with the whip to assert and beat Alexander Alliance (Ire) (Danehill) by a comfortable length.
