Chatila, the least fancied of the duo carrying the colors of Princess Haya of Jordan, was allowed to start at a massive 50-1. Breaking from the highest draw, the $150,000 KEESEP yearling tagged onto the back-end early and made smooth progress down the outer to challenge inside the final eighth. Collaring her stable companion Dama’a (Ire) (Green Desert) in the final strides, she earned a half-length verdict at the line to provide her owner with a one-two. "They are hopefully both fillies with a bright future, but the winner is very much a seven-furlong or mile filly in the making," trainer John Gosden said. "We’ll look at a Listed race for her now." Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, £5,525.
