  CHANTILLY, Race 0, Mdn, 18,000, , 7 fT, 1:29.6, gd

Multiplex (GB), C, 2, by Danehill

1st Dam: Shirley Valentine (GB) ((SP-GB)), by Shirley Heights (GB)
2nd Dam: Slightly Dangerous, by Roberto
3rd Dam: Where You Lead, by Raise a Native

Multiplex enjoyed plenty of support as the 4-5 favorite for his debut and did not let supporters down with an emphatic win. The performance oozed the class to match an impressive pedigree, despite the fact that the colt gave jockey Christophe Soumillon a late scare by ducking left just before the winning post. Also surviving an early bump, the Juddmonte homebred recovered to travel sweetly in a patient fifth until angling to the inside for his run just after the quarter-mile marker. Making smooth headway from there, he cruised to the front approaching the final eighth and was eased down inside the last 100 yards to account for Maniclown (GB) (Hernando {Fr}) by four lengths, with the runner-up a further six lengths clear of third. The winner is a 1/2 to Memorise (Lyphard), GSW-Ire, MGSP-GB, $121,853. Lifetime Record: 1 start, 1 win, i9,000.

O: Khalid Abudllah | B: Juddmonte Farms | T: Andre Fabre
