A $475,000 KEESEP yearling purchase, Sensation was sent off the 2-1 second choice to win at first asking, but ran more like a 1-5 chance. A half sister to I’ve Decided (Bertrando), GSP, $289,896, the bay filly was hustled to the front, repulsed a bid from Win McCool (Giant’s Causeway) nearing the stretch and exploded to win by 11 lengths, despite racing greenly. Swap Filaroo (Exchange Rate) nosed out Win McCool for the place spot. Lasting Appeal (A.P. Indy), the full sister to Overbrook stallion Jump Start, was scratched. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $25,800.
