  Delaware Park, Race 6, Msw, 35,620, 3yo/up, 6f, 1:11 4/5, ft

  Contrast, F, 3, by Unbridled

1st Dam: Safely Kept (Ch. Sprinter, MGISW, $2,194,206), by Horatious
2nd Dam: Safely Home, by Winning Hit
3rd Dam: Arc Lamp, by *Stella Aurata

Contrast, an impeccably bred daughter of Unbridled and GI Breeders’ Cup Sprint winner Safely Kept, had a trio of five-furlong moves at Colt’s Neck under her belt and went to post the slight 2-1 second choice. The bay scampered out the early lead and set pressured fractions of :22.08 and :45.65 as fellow 2-1 shot Ebony Star kept her honest. Jockey Stewart Elliot asked Contrast to pick it up as they entered the lane and she duly responded, edging away to win by four lengths with something left in the tank. Ebony Star was clearly second best, some 15 1/2 lengths ahead of Raging Beauty (Saint Ballado).
