Adieu fired a best-of-49 half in :47 2/5 at Keeneland Apr. 16 and was pounded down to 3-5 to win at first asking. Debuting with Lasix, the $140,000 FTSAUG yearling and $300,000 FTFFEB juvenile dueled through an opening quarter of :22.13, began to edge clear at the top of the stretch and drew away impressively to win by 4 1/4 lengths over Haddie Be Good (Silver Deputy). This marks the 1st winner for her freshman sire (by Mr. Greeley). Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $31,270.
