Where’s That Tiger, produced by a full sister to 2000 Kentucky Derby winner Fusaichi Pegasus, was kept under wraps in midfield after tucking in from the widest box until coming under pressure approaching the final quarter. Pushed along to close at the eighth pole, the 7-2 second choice kept on strongly in the latter stages to deny 9-4 market rival Dynamo Dancer (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}) by a short head on the line. The victor’s dam was a $1-million KEENOV weanling that sold at the same sale as an unraced broodmare for $4 million in 2000. John Magnier signed the ticket for Blissful, who was in foal to Deputy Minister at the time. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, Eu13,020. O: Michael Tabor | B: Pacelco SA | T: Aidan O’Brien |
