  Keeneland, Race 4, Msw, 47,300, 3yo, 6f, 1:12 2/5, ft

Dancing Jim, C, 3, by Fusaichi Pegasus

1st Dam: Too Chic (GISW, $136,270), by Blushing Groom (Fr)
2nd Dam: Remedia, by Dr. Fager
3rd Dam: *Monade, by *Klairon

Dancing Jim, a 3/4 brother to Queena (Mr. Prospector), Ch. Older Mare, MGISW, $565,024; and Chic Shirine (Mr. Prospector), GISW, $237,944, made a good first-out impression at 5-2 odds. The Emory Hamilton homebred was allowed to settle under Mike Smith, but came calling with a sweeping five-wide move into the lane. Asked for his best from there, he made steady progress on the leaders and was up in plenty of time to deny the game firster Recognition (Surachai) by 1 1/4 lengths. The winner’s dam, Too Chic, heroine of the GI Maskette S. at Belmont, died while foaling this colt at the age of 23.

Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $31,270.
