Blotto, a $75,000 KEENOV weanling and $150,000 KEESEP yearling, took plenty of action at the windows, going postward as the 2-1 second pick, and didn’t disappoint. The dark bay was on the lead through an easy half in :47.06 and lengthened clear impressively when roused by John Velazquez, winning by 8 1/4 lengths.
