  Santa Anita, Race 3, Msw, 45,200, 3yo, 6f, 1:09 1/5, ft

Storm Wolf, C, 3, by Stormin Fever

1st Dam: Exclusive Rosette (SW), by Ecliptical
2nd Dam: Zetta Jet, by Tri Jet
3rd Dam: Queen Zetta, by Crozier

Storm Wolf hooked a very solid group of maidens in his debut at Santa Anita Dec. 26, which included MSW & GSP Going Wild and Only in Reno, who went on to break his maiden with a 103 Beyer Speed Figure. Freshened up off that fourth-place showing, the $300,000 FTKJUL yearling made his three-year-old debut as the 3-2 chalk here. Ridden by Gary Stevens, the dark bay sat in third as a speed duel developed up front. Put into high gear on the turn for home, Storm Wolf took over in the stretch and drew off impressively to win by seven lengths. First-time starter A.P. Arrow (A.P. Indy), a half brother to GISW Geri, finished second at odds of 7-1. Lifetime Record: 2-1-0-0, $29,040.
