Market vibes alone spoke volumes for Grand Central, who was forced down to 2-5 favoritism from an opening show of 4-5. Always traveling smoothly out wide in fourth under Jamie Spencer, he made fluent progress to challenge at the top of the straight and was eased to the front with 1½ remaining. Never in any danger thereafter, he easily pulled clear of Conscript (Ire) (Mujadil) in the final 50 yards to record a facile fourlength success. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, €13,020.
